Need help, I bought the Galaxy a8 about two weeks ago, upgrading from an iphone. And was definitely not dissapointed. Although one of the main selling points for me was the camera. and for some reason or another the camera sucks in low light. it is incredibly blurry and slow, as if it is almost lagging. I've tried everything I could find online, and nothing has helped, and from what I read many people have had similar problems. I do not have a samsung service center near me, so I was told by the people I work with who sell phones, to go to my provider to seek more help as samsung wasn't much of a help.

Not sure what Koodo can do besides do a warranty replacement if it's a flaw in your phone? If tomorrow is still within 15 days you can just return it and get a replacement. Samsung is the one that pushes updates and fixes glitches.

I would say this is a flaw in my phone. It's been like this since I bought it as far as I know, the camera works fine in well lit environments. But it seems like a flip phone camera in low light.

If all A8's are like this, there is nothing warranty repair can help with.

You also try low light camera apps to see if a software fix is possible. If not, it may just be the imitations of the device.

@Brandon: The A8 camera is a 16MB with f1.7m so it is a fast camera, but there is no Optical Image stabilization. You need to keep your hands firm at night, or try not take photos of moving objects. There might be a "night mode" on the camera app, you could try that one also. There are some tips here
