does anyone know of any extended batteries for the S4 mini? I have been able to find 1 at: http://www.batterybuyer.com/samsung-3...

It offers 3800mah. The others I have seen have only been 2000, which only increases it by 100, from 1900.
Any thoughts?
Thanks :)

You do know most batteries are bigger and usually come with a case attached to it?

Plus there are many on ebay. But since I've never bought any batteries I have no idea which are trustable... Why not just buy a second battery same capacity and change it once the 1st one is finished?

That's the best part of Samsung phones is the removable back and battery and just switching to a new battery of the same size. I only recommend buying actual Samsung batteries personally but I know others will say there's nothing wrong with buying 3rd party batteries. The thing with 3rd party batteries is if something does happen such as the battery blowing up or something that harms the phone it will void the warranty. This happened with a case not too long ago with Samsung and nothing was covered or anything because it was found that the person had a 3rd party battery in the phone not a OEM Samsung battery. It's not too likely to happen but if it does your on your own.
The last Samsung external battery charger that came with an extra battery was $50 for the charger, battery and a nice little plastic case to but the battery in while carrying it in a pocket or purse. Don't go to Bell as they charge double the price of other places. Best Buy is where I've gotten my last 2 and they were both $50 which is a great deal IMO.

I have seen one on the site listed above, and an one on bestbuy.ca. both with larger case backings which is expecte and I'm fine with. I haven't seen any Samsung brand extended batteries however. I'm out and about alot and would like my phone to hold a charge for a whole day. I've a couple friends with the S4 mini and all of us do quite a bit of talking. They usually have to charge their phone half way through the day. I would like to avoid that. The other thought would be to see if someone has made a solar panel backing for the phone but I don't see that being very efficient.

Samsung probably wouldn't have an extended battery just the same size and you keep it as an extra that's fully charged in your pocket and when the one in the phone dies you take that one out and pop in the fully charged one, it's the whole reason they have removable batteries in Samsung phones for that exact purpose.

Or, John. Of you're working at a desk, why not bring the charger and charge it while you don't use it?

I know this is an old post, but maybe someone will stil find this information usefull.
The absolute best battery for the S4 Mini is the Zerolemon 5100mAh one. You can find more informations about it in this video that I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN-UKjj0urM
