I live in a border town, and when i go into the US it switches to at&t no problems. But when i come back to canada even restarting my phone it won't switch back to koodo, even though there is next to no signal on the at&t network and it takes almost 5 min in the network setting to switch back manually.was wondering if this was normal. I have a galaxy x 2. And this is not the only phone i have had this problem with.

If it's set to manually, then you will need to do it by yourself. And yeah, it takes some time to do it manually but I don't know why. If it would be set up to auto, then the switch would be made faster

When I set it to auto for some reason it defaults to the us network. If I'm far enough away from the border it will connect to koodo but I am 2km from it so whenever I have to reset my phone it goes to at&t ,and the signal strength is 1 bar. So I either have to leave my house or manually change the network. That's why I have it on manual.
