Do I have to still pay roaming charges because my phone is on US tower despite still being in Canada

Hi Sarah, yes, so you'll have to talk to Koodo about this (*611 from your mobile phone) by either calling or sending them a message over Facebook through a private message.

You'll then have to go into your phones settings menu and select Koodo as the network you want to connect to manually so it doesn't automatically connect to other networks.


To do this go to settings - More - Mobile Networks - Network Operators - Search For Networks and your phone will search for towers in the area which will take a minute to search then a list will come up, select Koodo.
