Reversing data charges

Just last month I got a new phone (The Essential Phone).  I was using it for about 3 days when I noticed that the data was turned on - probably as an automatic setting.  I don't have a data plan, am not in the habit of using data and don't want data.  I turned that setting off immediately but now have a charge to deal with when I didn't mean to or know I was using data.  Can this be reversed for me?

They might do something for you but you would have to contact them to find out. This can either be by calling or sending them a message through Facebook or Twitter.

@Vanessa, all phones come with data enabled, although they can be turned off on the phone itself. We don't normally reverse charges, since the data is indeed used for updating applications running in the background as such. If you want to completely avoid data use, please log into your account and place a data block on which can be had for $2 per month. This will certainly give you the peace of mind you might be looking for.
