Is there any way possible to retrieve old text messages? This phone was freezing up n deleted the wrong thread. I really need that thread back.

Speak to a lawyer or local police. If it is not a legal issue, they won't do anything

what if i lost my phone? will the police get a court order? oh and i didnt call to report it lost. but i did call ppl to see who was using the phone am i able to press charges on that person, or is it my on problem for not reporting my phone missing? so like if its just lost would that be considered a legal issue? they approached the person who supposedly had it and they said that they dont have it they were just borrowing a friends phone. can i charge them for the phone bill????

You can't charge them for the phone bill that's one you unfortunately. The only way to get someone charged is if you wrote down the serial # of the device and can prove it's your phone with a reciept showing you purchased the device.

If that can even be done. Koodo's ToS specifically states that the account owner is liable for all usage & charges that happen with the phone.

I highly doubt that a court is going to use it's time to charge an amount under $500 to someone.
