I activated my new prepaid phone number, but when I finished the process it was stuck on a processing page so I cancelled and tried again, but when I tried again my number was not available. How do I get my number back?

If the process hasn't been completed, I don't think you can come back and get that number.

You can check if your SIM was activated, if it wasn't then you could retry to do it from the start, I guess.

The SIM wasn't activated, also I can't sign into the account a supposedly created. Now when I try again from the start the number I want, which is the one I used the first time around, is not available. Is there a way to free up the number again?

From my experience, once that number is gone... its gone.
I was creating an account and pick the number I want and submitted it. But some other info was wrong or incomplete, so I have to going through again and the number was gone.
I picked different one and do it again for a few more times because I didn't enter some other info again or something...  then the numbers were gone each time I resubmitting.

I'm not sure how the system release the number I picked but couldn't complete, then gone.

I imagine that they keep the numbers they offered you in reserve so that they can't be offered and acquired by anyone else as you are placing your order. It probably times out after so long and then if the number wasn't selected it goes back in the pool.

"the numbers they offered you in reserve"
- It was a prepaid account that I mentioned above.
When you activate your prepaid SIM, you enter your info and be able to pick up number from list. I picked one and submitted, but there was some info I forgot to enter... So, I needed to redone the page again, and the number I picked was gone.

It wasn't like postpaid online order if you mean "placing your order" for postpaid. (This can be my ESL again, hahaha)
