Hi Alex,

Sorry to hear you lost your phone. Do you mean you want to cancel your account with Koodo? You will need to call them to do so, but I'd say that is a bit like throwing away the baby with the bathwater... you might be better off to buy a new phone and SIM card and start using that with your current account. Unfortunately you'll still need to pay off the Tab for the lost phone... if that applies to you.

Sophia is bang on, a lot of people make the assumption that if you lose your phone and report it, that you are no longer responsible for the bill. But unfortunately you are still responsible for paying your bill or, if you choose to cancel, the outstanding tab balance. It may definitely work out better to just purchase a new phone and add it back onto your account. Another option is to look online or pick up a Koodo prepaid phone and use that. That way you are able to use the service you are still paying for.
