Replacing phone after breaking it with a large tab.

Dropped my Nexus 4 and cracked the screen. Obviously not under the warranty. I have a large amount of my tab left (150). Is it possible to upgrade and pay the tab off if I did that already in the last year? Can I go to a store and do this (no credit card)?

Yes. You can pay off your tab on self serve and get another tab for a new phone within the same year

With the tab, you can upgrade at any time, you just pay off what's remaining. But you have a couple of options in this instance, you could charge the remaining balance to your next invoice or pay it in store when you get a new phone. Hope that helps answer your question :)

Thanks. Now have to figure out what to replace it with and stop mourning my loss.

No problem at all. Quick question for you, what do you generally want in a phone that you use everyday?

I basically use it 24/7 for email and web surfing. It replaces my computer pretty much for everything except movies. I don't use that many apps at all really. Just heavy duty web/email use.

Oh okay. Just thought I'd ask cause if you're used to using the Nexus 4, you might like the Nexus 5 as an upgrade for a phone. It would be a similar experience you'd have to your Nexus 4. Another couple to mention that are decently priced phone is the Moto G, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

They're all priced moderately and when it comes to getting any one of these you can't go wrong. I myself have a Nexus 4 and love it, my girlfriend has a Note 2 and finds it to be a good everyday phone. But ultimately it's your decision in the end, I just thought I'd give you some options if you had a hard time deciding. :)
