I just purchased a used Koodo phone and don't know if it was prepaid or on contract to replace my damaged prepaid koodo phone, can I activate the new phone on my existing prepaid account by buying a new sim card?
Hi Mark, it won't matter if the phone you bought is prepaid or monthly as they're both the same! :) As for the sim card, if it's the same size, simply insert it and you're good to go. If the size is different, you can purchase a new prepaid sim in the correct size and activate it on your account. Hope that helps :)
Thank you, that's very helpful, I'm going to buy a new card today, mine was damaged along with my phone. I have several hundred minutes on my account, it's a relief to know that I can carry them over to the new phone.
