Hello I am in Duncan B.C and my brand new Nexus broke after 10 days. I desperately need mine replaced. Is that possible and I was also told that you are compatible with Telus and I should go get a phone there. Or the other option was to go to Nanaimo ar Victoria and go to a Koodo outlet. What should I do?

Hello Angela.

What happened to your phone?

To answer your question, yes Telus phones are compatible with Koodo. Koodo's warranty service offers a replacement phone for 25$ instead of waiting the whole time for the repair, but for this you would need to go to an Koodo outlet store. Also, you're still in the 14 days you have to return a phone. So you could try and exchange it for free at a Koodo outlet.

Return the phone within the 15 day refund period. Assuming there is no physical damage to the phone of course.

If it is physical damage like a smashed or cracked glass over the display then that's not covered and you will have to pay for the repair.

Telus phones will mostly need to be unlocked for them to work on Koodo though. Although if your getting another Nexus device then no need to unlock as they're factory unlocked to work on any compatible carrier. By compatible I mean uses the same frequencies the phone uses.
