We often travel to the US for months at a time and use 30tnt. Is there an easier way to renew this add on every 30 days? Currently, the 30 day plan will expire 12:01 am Mnt time of the 30th day, and will not allow us to add on before we go to bed that night ( stating we already have the add on). We have learned to turn off our phones that night, but then we usually get some $5  data/text charge when turning the phones back on in the morning and immediately adding the plan.

Hey Lisa! We don't have any recurring options for roaming at the moment; however, it would be a good idea to suggest! The best way to avoid the data charges is to turn off the roaming data the night your add-on ends. At least this way you can answer a call in case of an emergency and incoming texts are free. You can then text the code 30TNT to 4545 the next morning.  Hope this helps!

This is idiotic! I'm a couple of hours away from the expiry of my current add-on and you say there is no way to renew until the current plan ends? That is just plain stupid. Bell may be getting a customer back!

While in the us we have the data turned off as we do not use it, the charge is happening (as best as anyone can figure) in the minute or two it takes to send or because of sending the text to 4545.

Incoming text messages are free and outgoing messages to 4545 are free too, so the $5 charge really seems as if it's data releated (especially if you don't answer phone calls during that period too). You can send us a email on this secure link http://koo.do/11eMLdy and select "Social Media" if you would like for us to look into this charge . Thanks!
