Removing a line from my account

I have a Koodo account with three lines, mine, my dads, and my boyfriends. My dad switched providers and got a new phone and phone number. I would like to take his old phone(tab owing) as my new phone but I don't want his plan or phone number (I want to keep my plan and my phone number). I do not have a tab on my current phone and line. How would I go about this?

You can just insert your SIM card in his old phone, that makes it yours.

However you will still need to cancel his line and pay off the remainder of the Tab... that won't be automatic.

To cancel the line previously used by your father, you will need to contact Koodo directly. Call *611 from your phone, and have your account info handy when you chat to the Customer Service Rep.

If your dad ports the number over, it will automatically close the line for you
