Remove data block

Want to remove data block on my phone and self serve is not giving me the option to do it. Put the block on 3 years ago.

When you go on the website self - serve there is a list at the top of th é page that pops up when you choose add/remove/change add-ons. There will be x' next to them at th top. It's not in that list? Also are you sure you are referring to dat block with MMS and not th one Koodo does on their end? I I in the list of add-ons to add a all if not in the list of current add-ons? Can you also check the app whe you go to Plans & Add-ons and then manage add-ons?

Problems with data not working and long phone line waits seem to be the theme of the day, especially on the French side. If you can't access the Koodo-instituted data block, a Koodo rep suggested sending them a private message on their Facebook or Twitter pages.

Data is working fine Bob. Customers are switching to our new shock-free-data plans online but some do not remove data block from their account, likely because they long forgotten they have put it on. Then some call inquiring why data is not working on their phone, although the problem is easy to fix online. They log in and in a few clicks removed data block. Phone at that point is fully functional.

Asking customers to direct message us on Twitter and Facebook is necessary if they want help from us. Accounts need to authenticated and that cannot be done publicly.

@Bernard: Could there not be a warning to users that tell them they can remove the data block now that they have shock free data if they choose to do so?

When  one changes plans it show what you keep and what you lose. Keeping data block is not a good idea if one wants to use data. Now, what would be great is when people switch to shock-free-plans data block automatically drops off. We'll talk to team to see how complex that would be to make happen.
