Registration: Waiting to be approved?

I recently switched to Koodo and when trying to login to koodo.com/myplan as suggested by the text message I received from Koodo it says my account is linked to another email address and is waiting to be approved by the other email owner. It's a brand new account and I ported my number which I've had for several years over from Bell. What gives?

Did you use a different email from the one that you provided at registration? Did you click on the link in your emaila ddress that was sent as well? If you can't get it working using the registered email, then you will need to contact Koodo to get it reset. You can send a private message via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter.

I only have one email address. I received an email from koodo and verified my address through the link but it still says it's awaiting release from some other email.

If there's no one else who that 'other email' might refer to, I would, as Goran mentioned, contact Koodo to get it reset. You can send a private message via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter.

Okay to add to this, what if you signed on via a referral and the promotion was valid when you got the initial email. Am I going to have to pay because this system glitch can't recognize my email is the initial sign up email? I don't think it should seeing as it's costing me and the person who referred me an extra $50 cause we now can't/ won't get the referral bonus

Regards to referral credits, it's just when you set up service and it's running, not whenever you register for a self-serve account.

I wouldn't consider not getting a promotional thing paying for something but I digress. Send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter if it won't work to get it reset and provide the same email for the registration.
