Refer a friend link problem

Hi, I wanted to bring my family member to Koodo and would like to use Refer a friend promotion.
However, everytime i try, i don't get into. Here is message i get.

Somethingwent wrong. Please try again later or contact us at koodomobile@support.sparkrefer.com and we'll help sort this out for you.

Yes. This link works. at times, it allows me to sign in too. After that, I am getting same message as posted

I cant get that error to come up for me. You could try clearing your browser cache and then try again. Or try using another browser.

Hi ns - looks like you had created an account a while back, with a different email address from what you're using with your Koodo Self Serve account. This was never updated once we linked the Refer-a-friend login with Self Serve. I've just updated your email address to match. Try again when you get a chance and let us know if this fixed the issue.

Will you honour the $100 referral that I missed? It is now down to $25.

I tried to get resolution through this site, the the refer a friend email link as well as the Facebook messenger! It's been weeks.... Nice that you could resolve the issue so quickly.

Unfortunately not. However, you can refer as often as you like, and promo's do come and go throughout the year. Keep in mind that you can earn up to $300 in referral credits a year.

Really? No?
How can that be? I expected more from Koodo?
I made every attempt. Why would I be penalized for something that was not my fault?

Unfortunately there's no way to honour the promo as we have no idea how many referrals you may have sent and how many of those would have activated.
On the bright side, you're still eligible to continue earning credits as noted above. Keep an eye out for regular promotions.

I also had issues with the referral portal (https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/refer-a-friend-not-working-at-all)

1) I was able to reach out to the referral team -- they solved the problem with my referral account.

2) I was able to reach out to Koodo and they will be manually applying the "bill credit" for the new lines added to my account while I was unable to go through the usual referral procedure.

Hi, I sent an email to Koodo Mobile as specified in message(koodomobile@support.sparkrefer.com). They investigated and found out that my phone number is associated with another email (original email id first registered before change).  They requested me try using the original email id. I logged in to my account and changed email id to original (first registered) email id and signed out for re login. Upon re login, refer a friend link is working. Check similar situation in your case.
