Recieved SIM but no Account Number. Switched from PUBLIC to KOODO

I just got the promo to move from Public Mobile to Koodo and received my SIM yesterday after waiting for a week and a half. I signed up for self serve as told but I don't have my account number. I couldn't find it and I never received an email for some activation code. And now I keep getting the message "You're still waiting to be approved" every time I try to sign up for self serve.

I checked my Spam folders and email but I never got an email from Koodo for an activation code. The only emails I received were regarding my the shipping confirmation, shipping information, and signing up on Koodo Self Serve.

My order information is HFO20069784

I also messaged them on Facebook yesterday but I haven't received anything yet.

At this point you would have no recourse but to contact koodo to fix the self serve login.
Your best bet is to send koodo a private message vid Facebook or Twitter.

Have you tested your sim in your phone? Is it activated yet?

Hi, thank you. I was able to make a new Self Serve Account but it's under my sister's name. I was wondering if that can be changed to Katrina Custodio.

When you applied did you use your sisters name and credit card and address?

Yes I did. She pays for my phone bill however, it should still be under my name. When I applied for the SIM card to be sent after receiving the promo, I used her credit card and name. In parenthesis, it was noted that it had to be the same as the credit card, which is in her name. We both have the same address as well so I did not think it would be an issue.

When I applied for self serve, I registered under my name and not my sisters. But then when I looked at the Role Management and the Profile Overview, it's my sister's name.

If you want it under your name you would now have to go a transfer of ownership ($10) and you would need a credit check to get approved. And if you are going to use a credit card to pay, the name needs to match what's on the account.

hi Katrina,
They are properly having some backlog that created delay. Normally SIM should be activated before reaching you. I would wait for them to respond on facebook.

I'll wait for their reply but I really do hope to get this resolved soon.
