My husband is going to be travelling frequently to the us. I know i can text (sent and receive) without charges as long as i am in canada. What about receiving calls? I have pay per use international calls. What add on would i need to ensure i dont incur additional charges?

As long as you are in canada, your calls received from the US are treated the same as calls received from within Canada

Yes since it's still a Canadian number. Only he gets the roaming fee charges.

Unless you have unlimited incoming calls or calls are during your unlimited periods, talk minutes will apply regardless if you are calling him or he is calling you

While you're in Canada all incoming calls are treated the same. Only thing is if you don't have unlimited minutes incoming calls count against your daytime allotment but that's the same anyways.

Are you and your husband are under one account( one bill)?
If so, you can benefit of free Family Calling still on your side.  Receiving calls from him doesn't use your limited minutes.( If you have unlimited minutes, then it's doesn't matter anyway)
