Hello, folks.

I requested my Koodo account cancellation a few weeks before leaving Canada and payed off all my owing balance (well, I thought I had, because my last bill at that time showed $0), but turns out, 3 months later, I've just received two confusing emails telling me that I still have $110 due, plus a $25 NSF charge.

I don't understand why the Self Serve system told me I was all good, but now I owe $135 and I was notified only three months after I'm gone?

And how am I suppose to pay for that if I don't have any bank accounts or relatives/friends in Canada anymore?

Please tell me this is a mistake. :(

You receive a final bill for whatever is left of your service the day you cancelled and any tab balance left. The day you cancel it doesn't compute for you what you owe. You likely would have been told you final bill amount when you did cancel but if for some reason you were not told then you'd still have a final bill to tell you. Look at page 3 of the final bill on self-serve an you will see why you still owed 110 dollars.

And what about that $25 NSF charge? So I still have another bill coming in?

And how am I suppose to pay for that if I don't have any bank accounts or relatives/friends in Canada anymore?
