Rate plan only available in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec only?

I'm an Ontario resident and trying to switch my plan to the $60 one with 4GB of data and 1,000 minutes per month with unlimited evenings and weekends. While I was reading the "nitty gritty" part though I saw this:
  1. Rate plan available for Manitoba and Saskatchewan residents only. Subscribers who move to another province will be migrated to a rate plan available in that province with similar services at the monthly rate plan then available.
  2. Rate plan available for Quebec residents only. Subscribers who move to another province will be migrated to a rate plan available in that province with similar services at the monthly rate plan then available.
Does this mean that I am not able to get the plan? I didn't want to proceed and screw up my phone plan as I have a grandfathered plan that I don't want to lose if I can't get this other plan.

Thanks!

Make sure you have Ontario selected as your province in the top right. This will show you all the plans availiable just to you. As well, you will not be able to choose a plan not available to you, you will get an error so no need to worry about messing anything up!

Oh, that's great to know, thank you! I do have my province selected as ON so it must be okay then. I'll give it a try. Thanks again!

The nitty gritty only pertains to the number it says. When view quebec, saskatchewan plans, etc you will see the tiny number attached to the plan somewhere. The $60/month plan should work just fine for you!

Isn't it interesting that Koodo treats Canadians differently? Aren't we all EQUAL??? According to a Koodo Rep and then another Loyalty Rep (by phone call), Saskatchewan residents are most preferred (get the best plans) and Alberta residents are the least (have the worst plans). Kind of ironic that next door neighbors are not considered equal by this company. Sad Koodo, very sad.

Saying most preferred isnt a fair statement. The reason the plans are so low in saskatchewan is because of SaskTel. SaskTel is the local phone provider there and have very cheap prices which make all the other companies drop their prices to stay competitive. Its not that "we all arent treated equally" its just how the market goes and it sucks for some but is great for others.
