Under the $35 LIGHTWEIGHT CANADA-WIDE PLAN. What is the rate for calling a Hong Kong number while roaming in the USA?

Hi Amy,

If you call overseas while in the USA, you combine the roaming and international long distance rates.

Without a roaming add-on, calls cost $1.50/min (http://koo.do/Im7Mcg) while long distance to Hong Kong is $0.50/min (http://koo.do/JALDeg). So, while roaming, calls to Hong Kong will cost $2/min.

You can check out that first link for roaming plans to cover you while in the USA.

Can i confirm that if i purchase a 3 days $20 unlimited Talk and Text roaming add-on... that it will be $20 one-time fee. And then $0.50/min calls to Hong Kong.
Does this apply for both incoming and outgoing calls to and from Hong Kong

Thanks for getting back to us, Amy.

The $20 roaming add-on will cover you for the roaming fees. You'll still be charged $0.50/min to call out to Hong Kong.

Incoming calls, on the other hand, won't count as international long distance. So you won't be charged long distance fees to receive calls.

And once the 3-day period ends the roaming add-on is gone. It won't renew unless you want it to.
