Premise: I want to purchase the blackberry Q5 along with the $29.00 monthly plan online.

1) In the checkout section, the end balance is $0.00 - is this normal? Even the SD Card fee is not applied.

2) How is the Q5's reception in Mississauga locations - specifically enclosures such as a basement.

3) Is there a cancellation fee besides paying off the tab and also is temporary suspension available?

1) SIM Card is included as well as Free Shipping with the Q5. You will receive a bill for your $29 plan later.

2) You might have a difficulty when you use any phone in the basements. I think its depends on the conditions of the basement.

3) There is no cancellation fee. You will need to pay off the tab and any overage charges if any. You can suspend your plan but you still need to pay full price for the service.

1) If you're using the tab, yes it is. Otherwise, in the checkout there is an option to "edit" the tab used, and change it to $0 and then it will change the total.

2) It really depends on where you live. Saying just "mississauga" is way too broad. You have 15 days from purchase to exchange or return the phone so you can considering that a test period.

3) No cancelation fee besides paying off your tab. Temporary suspension is available. Regular suspension suspends the line but you're still billed. And then theres a seasonal hold which is $15/month instead of your regular rate plan but when you remove the seasonal hold, you must choose a new plan thats offered at that specific time.

Thanks for the reply Mayumi and Ahmad! Also, in terms of the activation of the phone ( number + service), is this done online as well, a koodo store or via telephone?

If you are a new customer, you can't activate it online. I think the easiest way is to go to the nearest Koodo store with proper ID, so they can run a credit check on you and activate it.

Yes, Mayumi is correct, new clients MUST activate in the store. The clerk processed my account in about 15 minutes, my partner, who was served by a different clerk, took 30 for some reason, so budget between 15 and 30 minutes for your trip.
