I believe the answer to your 3rd question is yes, you can get Koodo Home Phone at the Koodo store at the mall, as long as it's an actual Koodo store, and not a multibrand retailer such as Wow Mobile, OSL (Walmart Wireless), or The Mobile Shop

You can use your existing home phones, just make sure they're unplugged from any current wirings with other home phone providers.
And yes, you can port your number from Telus to Koodo.

How much will it cost after 12 months?  i am playing 15 a month now from Telus.  Does my present computer wireless work or do I need a new unit just for the phone?  So what do I need to do now?.  Order on line and get the unit or get a unit from Koodo at the mall?

After 12 months it will be $20/month.

Your present Internet connection has nothing to do with your phone line, so that will continue to work (unless you are on dial up!)

What you need to do now: visit a Koodo store and have them set you up with the WHP, then port in your Telus number.

Edit: what phone system do you have now? If you have various plugs in your home with phones plugged in that won't work any longer... the wireless home unit is meant for either one phone, or a wireless phone system with one base unit - there is only room in the unit for 2 phone plugs. Just a heads up!

I have a VTech system.  It has one base unit and 2 other portable units that are just electrically plugged into the wall. Will I still be able to use them?

Also, what will the cost likely be after 12 months as if it will be around 15 it likely is not worth my changing over to Koodo as I am paying 15 now.  Thanks for the reply.

Yes, your VTech system would work with the WHP. However since you are only paying $15 now, you are probably better off with your current plan.

Koodo will cost $20/month after 12 months for unlimited Canada wide calling.
