Could I use Tab to have a new phone but I don't want to pick any plan? So It is just a phone, BlackBerry Q5

Not quite sure of your question. but if your looking to use a tab to get a new phone then you'd have to pay off any remaining tab you owe right now. You don't need to change your plan since you just want to use a small tab I'm guessing since the price of the phone is only $150.
If this doesn't answer your question could you elaborate on your question so we know exactly what your wanting to know.

It's like asking if you can borrow 150-500$ from Koodo without giving it back.

You can't do this. You need to be a Koodo customer in order to use the tab

That defeats the purpose of the tab if you're not intending on getting a plan. So to answer your question I'd have to say no.

You can buy the phone outright on a prepaid plan and then unlock the phone and use wherever you want that's compatible. The phone would cost you $200 +taxes though.

Thanks guys. It makes sense. So If I want Q5, I need to pick up a plan then do Tab 150. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
