if I go to a store(futreshop for example) and I pick up a note 4 on the large tab. Do i pay futureshop the $350 or does the $350 tht is left over get added to my bill?

Keep in mind that Tab L requires a Tab L plan + $10 tab fee over 24 months. It's usually not a great deal. Have you considered Tab M? Sure, it's a higher upfront cost, but the Tab fee is $5/month and you can have almost any plan.

Well since the money doesn't get added to my bill like my current company I think I will just avoid Koodo in general.

I've determined you're with Rogers since they're the only carrier who post upgrade hardware costs to customer's accounts (except new activations which are paid in store) who also offer the Note 4. Just keep in mind that depending on your old contract/plan, you might be required to change it in order to upgrade. Koodo might still be better off for you since their plans are generally cheaper.

Talk to Rogers and see what they offer you.
