I purchased my phone, cash, in full so why am I seeing tab information on my bill? Every month I see the tab update. My husband is getting a 10% discount for a "no tab" so I should be getting the same.

Hi Chantal,

If you are seeing a tab amount that is updating every month, then it probably means that you got a tab when you purchased your phone. Currently, there are no 10% discounts for not having a tab so that will not be available to you regardless of weather you have a tab or not.

If the bill confuses you, you can call *611 from your mobile phone to get a clarification of your account and get full details about that tab you see appearing on your bill.

Thanks. But I did not take the tab option as i paid the phone in full. When was the 10% discount offered? I have two phones on my account and both are showing an unnecessary tab. We started with Koodo in 2013 and 2014.

Is your tab showing Negative or positive?
If you didn't use the tab to purchase your phone, maybe it's accumulating positive tab.

Thank you. The "Closing Tab" is positive. What is the use of a "positive tab"?

Bassically you are building up credit towards the purchase of a new phone. Every month Koodo puts 15% of your plan towards the tab up to a maximum value of 150$ that can be used for the purchase of a new phone to get some money taken off of the price of a new phone.
