I have a  Ford car with a Emergency Assist on it.   To access this service you need Bluetooth.  My Nokia 640 XL will not bring up a keypad to put in the pin number that the car keeps requesting.   Why not and what am I doing wrong please?

The keyboard doesn't come up on your phone when you click on the spot to input the number? Are you saying it just shows the box to put the number in, but the keyboard doesn't come up?

Yesterday my bluetooth option would not connect to the car at all and certainly never gave me a box to put a pin number in and no keyboard came up to allow me to do this.     My other half tried with his mobile and it immediately gave a box and a keyboard to put the number in and is now working fine, however that is no good to me as it is my car and I need my bluetooth to work as it should.     What could possibly be wrong?

Your help is appreciated.

Success at Last!!

This morning after exhausting every avenue we knew , it was decided to do a ‘soft reset’   this just achieve everything to freeze , so nothing to lose , the battery was taken out and put back in.

BINGO it is back to normal.    Thank goodness.    Bluetooth now works in the car as it did before.   So my Emergency Assist is there just in case.

The only thing I cannot do now , could at one time before Windows 10 did an update, is to sync my One Note on my phone with my laptop.     So any suggestions on that one would be good.

Thank you all for your help.
