My dad is giving my his Samsung Ace because my Blackerry Curve broke. I am using the same sin card that was in the Blackberry in the Samsung, yet it is saying unregistered sin and not working on the Samsung. They are both Koodo, monthly paid phones. How can i fix this? Frustrated

It could be that you're phone is in 2G only mode. That commonly causes that error.

But how did the Blackberry break? If it was water damage the SIM could have also been damaged.

In that case, I recommend checking the settings, then going to wireless and networks, then mobile networks, there's an option for use only 2G networks, make sure that's off because Koodo doesn't have a 2G network.
