I am not able to sign in to my google calendar on my Android phone. I've already written a question on this and received an answer...but every time I try to add my google email address, I get the message: 'There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later.' I've been trying for weeks now but it keeps saying the same message. Please help. Thank you!

What's your device?
What Calendar App are you using?
Try in Settings--> Accounts--> Google to toggle off "Calendar" & toggle it back on.

You do have data or wifi turned on, right?

Sorry...I don't know what toggle means.... I am using a Nexus 4 android. Yes I have data and wifi on...everything else seems to be working except communicating with the Google servers.

If you're using the Google Calendar app and not the Nexus 4's built-in calendar app, navigate to the Play Store (on your device or click on link below) and download the Google Calendar app. There may be an update, if not, uninstall the app and reinstall.

There is currently an issue, since sometime last year, with android devices and Google apps and services. When I use Google chrome app, Google search app, or any Google apps they try to automatically log in to Google servers, right at startup, and then about every minute or couple of minutes again, because Google is trying to make everything synchronized with your account on every device that you access the internet, and if you agree with the terms of service they also are taking record of every search you do, every site you visit, every app you use, and everything you do online with Google to customize everything Google related, for you personally. It is very annoying and I hope that Google fixes the problem. I believe it is only an issue on newer android devices, because I had an LG L45C for a couple years, with no problem, and then I just got an LG G2 LS980, which has Android 4.2.2, and that message has interrupted me writing this about 8 times so far. I see while searching for an answer online, which is how I got here, posts going back to at least June or July of last year, and still today I'm getting the message. I'm sure it'll be worth it when it's all complete, and fixed, cause Google has a quantum computer now which I'm sure is processing a ton of this data, but it sure is annoying now.
