Problem with US coverage

Just purchased the $20 talk/text to use while in Maui, and calls are not connected, but can hear distorted noise like someone's under water. No actual words can be heard. Who can help? Has this feature been misrepresented?

One thing to keep in mind is that Koodo is essentially a reseller when it comes to the US. They are selling you a wrist band that gets you in down there, but its up to the US companies to take care of you while your there. You can definitely talk to Koodo and there are things they may be able to do to help your experience, but outside of some trouble shooting, they have no control over the network down there. Hopefully the link Chad posted helps out. Otherwise I know whenever I have problems I always start with a reset.
