The Galaxy ace is a budget Samsung phone that did not age well. It's not uncommon for budget phones 3-5 years old an more to crap out. You can always see if it's just a new battery that's needed. This doesn't happen when it's plugged in, does it?

I won't deny most salespeople don't up sell to varying degrees, but you don't hsv to pay extra to keep your plan if you get a new phone via Koodo. You have the tab you can take advantage of if you so desire. I have a plan from 2012 currently and still haven't had to pay extra when using the tab.

You can always get a new budget level phone. They are much better an more capable even taking into account Same price points for older budget phones when they cam out. You don't even hav to buy from Koodo. Find a goo use one. Buy one from staples or newegg or even overseas if it's compatible. Blu's high end line is pretty good and are still budget priced. There's the xiaomi redmi note 3 pro international éditions bought for 240cad. 520 plus tax will get you flagship phones in th one plus 3 and axon 7. You can get a Moto g play as well even.
