Problem with LG G6 $0 Upfront promotion

I see on the phone page that it says $0 on a medium tab for the LG G6 (was $100). When I add it to cart and select my phone plan it then says I have to pay $100 upfront and put the remaining $360 on the tab. This doesn't make any sense. Can anyone chime in on this matter?

Maybe it changed as you were selecting it. When I look, it shows as 100 on tab medium. Does it revert back to zero dollars when you refresh the phone's page

Reopened the Koodo page multiple times and logged in and it still shows up as $0 on a medium tab.

You're 100% certain that you're not mistaking 0 on large for medium?

@Richard: did you "upgrade" your current line or you add a new line? I believe the $0 upfront was available for upgrading only.

I don't really see RFD as a unreliable source,I don't see why anyone would lie about getting a tab on this plan, there is nothing to gain by doing so. Especially by reputable members on the site. Koodo emailed me and told me that my plan is eligible for only the medium and small and that I was not eligible for the Large of XLarge. I guess I am just going to email them again and ask them why I am being charged $100.

The fact that you haven't been able to add a Tab to the plan (and got a promotion) has contradicted the "source" on RFD.
And Yes, contacting Koodo directly could be the best option... only Koodo knows exactly what happened.

I had been able to add a tab, multiple times in fact. I just never made the purchase, in fact the medium tab is added it just gives me a $100 upfront charge instead of the $0 that is offered. The issue isn't getting a tab the issue is why I am being charged $100 which is the previous cost instead of the new $0 offer.

I would only believe when I saw a proper screenshot when you checked out and PAID with that plan. I saw  others who said they couldn't.

Anyway, as you already said you contacted Koodo and asked them, you could do it again. Let us know if you can do it.

I went through the purchase process like Dinh, and it works for me.  What happens when you add a different plan prior to check out?
