My Samsung was lost THEN stolen by someone on Saturday, and since then I've tried to remotely install 'Android Lost' and any other relevant apps to find it. The problem is that when I was doing this, the phone was suspended, as well, it had 34% battery Saturday morning. I wonder if there's any way to find it without having installed any 'find my phone' apps. I've sort of given up on getting it back since the person who has my phone also have my driver's license with my full address AND my business cards, and has not tried to contact me in the past 48 hours.

I beg the question as to why that person even has your driver's license. That shouldn't be handed over to anyone. Best you call it in and report it as stolen.

As for your phone, it's pretty much gone. Even if you managed to put an app on their before it was stolen, if the phone ain't on, then it's not gonna get phone.

I lost my entire purse, and every bit of paper and card in it. Hence the lost license. :P

That sucks.. I went through that when my gym bag was stolen from my car. EVERYTHING gone (wallet, ID, passport, cell phone, laptop)
Make sure you have contacted Koodo to suspend your account so that you aren't liable for any calls made by the jerk that stole your purse.

That was the first thing I did, and FYI, you can do it yourself on the website in your account. :)

I remember speaking to you about this :(

I still couldn't find that app I was talking to you about...I know it exists. I'm not crazy :P

I'll still keep looking as I am a "curious little bird" :P

By the way, I have spread the word (word...bird............bird is the word!!)

Haha thanks. By the way, your avatar photo is super creepy. Hey... By the way, I got sent a 'Fill out this text survey for a chance to win an iPhone 5" . Do you have any idea when they choose winners, or is it just random??

I don't. It seems to be a random draw. The picture is Keith Flint from The Prodigy. I wanted to have a picture to match the title I have as PRODIGY :P

It was going to be Neil Patrick Harris as Doogie Howser lol

I think that you would be a very good Doogie Howser - except he is more serious than you are

Me?
Serious??
Nope!

As Koodo has an excellent sense of humor, so do I. I apply that on the job when the time calls for it or if someone is that irate where comedy is needed. One major reason I love working for this company. They allow people like me to be myself, not a robot. I'd LOVE to get an El Tabador luchador mask though...*hint hint*

Android should have this functionality (locate/wipe/backup/restore) included natively. For some things, you just don't want to require "an app for that".
