I Would like to know why the EXACT same plan costs 42$$$$$ more in Ontario than it does in Saskatchewan.  This is completely unfair, as a National Service Provider, it should be the same price regardless of where you live

Yup, welcome to regional competition in Canada. Manitoba and Saskatchewan have companies like MTS and SaskTel, who put up very strong price plans earlier in the game and the big 3/their flankers, have to compete. Unfortunately we don't have this luxury in most of the other provinces and I disagree with it but this is the status quo for the time being.

Timo has it bang on, SaskTel and MTS are both government owned and are much more aggressive with pricing than any other carrier. If you really look at it SaskTel and MTS have even stronger plans available for people who use crazy data and stuff.

Sasktel still is, MTS was sold off and privatized in 1996.
