Prepaid base plan without unlimited text messaging

Since I rarely text I’d like to see a prepaid base plan that allows me to purchase text messages in blocks that don't expire like the Talk Boosters and Data Boosters. I’d like a low base rate like SpeakOut’s rate of $1.25 per month. That way I can pay for just what I use.

I'd love it!!! One star from me :) However.... to stay realistic... I think that is the whole concept of Koodo prepaid. They need to get a bit of profit one way or another, so in order to keep the price of minutes so low, and data flexible, they had to come up with a system to get a flat fee each month. They call it "unlimited texting" but I think that secretly it's just a plan fee without a contract ;)

Still, I really like your idea, I have said MANY times that if the base plan was a bit lower, people would FLOCK to Koodo... but then again they might shoot themselves in the foot because hardly anybody except the power users would consider a plan any longer :)

I like this idea too.

Maybe have the option of 3 different base plans:
Base Plan 1 = Unlimited Text
Boosters = Talk & Data

Base Plan 2 = unlimited evenings & weekend talk
Boosters = Talk & Data & Text

Base Plan 3 = 1GB of Data
Boosters = Talk & Text
