I received an email saying they got a deal just for me and I'm trying to purchase the plan they're offering. I have a prepaid account with koodo; however, the offer is for postpaid. How do I go from prepaid to postpaid ? The Koodo.com website is so confusing.

If you wish to do this online and dont need a new phone start here and click add to cart: https://www.koodomobile.com/bring-you...
Then once the account and self serve is setup you can port your prepaid number over. https://www.koodomobile.com/help/movi...

During the checkout process you'll want to enter whatever promo code you received in the offer.

Will I need to buy a new Sim Card?

SIM usability seems a little unclear, but dealing with a store or retail location will cost you the $30 activation fee most likely.

I believe if you switch in store you can get it transferred over and if you buy online then you'll have to get a new one.

This is not fair for Prepaid customes who received special offer.
You can re-use/transfer over your Prepaid sim to postpaid. But you have to go into store to do it and pay the connection fee?
They shouldn't charge it since you can't do this transfer through online.

Suggestion: check your self-serve to see what your actual usage and aspending have been for the past 6 months to see if it's worth the switch. If you decide on the change, wait till your booster balances are minimal. You may get credit for the $$$ in your prepaid account, but not the minutes or data left in there when you switch.

Yes, you ordered online so you will receive a new postpaid sim in the mail.
