Prepaid to Postpaid

So I changed from prepaid to postpaid because of the $15 credit/month for 12 months. 

Just a few questions:

1. I have $6.00 left in my prepaid account, will that be transferred? 
2. Will I need to manually stop automatic top-up on my prepaid account? 
3. Does the monthly billing for the monthly service start now, or when I activate my SIM card since I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail. 
4. I have 500MB left in my data booster, I'm guessing that's all wasted now?

1. Yes, more than likely, but you probably have to request it. Not sure if that has to be done while you upgrade, so... let's hope it's still possible!
2. No, your prepaid account should have been terminated as soon as you ported your number out.
3. It starts now (at least I'm pretty sure of that).

Not venting towards you, but it sounds frustrating that the bill charges now instead of when the SIM is activated since that's at least 1/4 of the month where I can't even physically use the service...

3. I think the plan starts when your SIM is activated. I am not sure if you can activate or Koodo does. Did you have access to your selfserve account yet? if Yes, then you could check if your usage start  (if it was activated)
