I have been set up for pre authorized payments since March 1st, 2013, but I always send Koodo money, because I sometimes get paid a week before my bill is due, I don't have the time to sit and wait to talk to customer service, so I changed my pre authorized to all zeros, I did that June 17, which is today. And my bill is due July 5th, will Koodo still take the money out of my account, if I don't send them the full amount by July 5th?
Thank you so much!

Does putting 0s even work for pre authorized?
Yo stop them?
If so how long does it take until it comes in affect?

I wonder if that PAP is through CC or checking account, if it's through checking account Koodo will still try to get money directly from her account, but if it was through CC and she puts zeroes on line, I'm not sure she can save it on selfserve, it'll ask her to enter correct CC number, you don't have any other alternatives except calling directly Customer service to remove you from Pre-authorized payment through CC or Debit account.

Hi there... If you made that change today and now Koodo does not have the proper info, most likely you will need to continue paying manually since there is no account or credit card to take the money from...

As long as you give it at least a week of lead time, changes to pre-auth payments typically take effect before the next bill is due, but seriously, if you call between 2 and 4 pm there's typically no wait time and switching to standard payments takes less than 5 minutes.

You make a good point Allesha. I just logged in and checked my self serve and there is no way to Cancel a Pre-Auth payment that has been set up. You can only edit your Pre-Auth details. I believe the cancel button is to only cancel any changes that was made.
I would advise calling Koodo 1-866-995-6636 to remove your Pre-Auth officially

I think adding the option to cancel Pre-Auth on Self Serve would be a great Idea.

If the balance is paid before the pre-authorized is taken out, the pre-authorized won't take the money out. So, if the balance reads $0.00, the pre-authorized payment will not be taken out.
