Pre-authorized bill payment start?

I set up the pre-authorized bill payments when I first signed up, but it said it takes a full billing cycle to start so I assumed I'd have to pay another way.
However when I check my Billing Overview it shows that my next pre-authorized payment date is in fact today, when the bill is due?
Does this mean I don't have to pay another way? I haven't figured out a way to pay as I don't have a credit card.. So I guess I have two questions, 1. Do I even have to pay, and 2. If yes, can I do a bill payment through my bank?

Yes you do have to pay even if it doesn't come out. If it doesn't take it out, you can still go to your bank and pay it through them. Just take your Koodo account number to the bank and tell them how much you want to pay. You can find your account number under the "Billing" section in self-serve. You can also pay it through online banking (add payee, koodo mobile, put in account number) and then "pay bill".

Thanks, so it's not going to go through pre-authorized this time? Thanks for your help.

I can't say for sure. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If you want to be safe, you can pay your bill through your bank and if the pre-authorized payment still comes out this month, you will just have a credit on your account for that amount that will be used towards next months service and most likely won't have to pay anything the second month(if you dont have overages, etc on your next bill)
