Pre-paid SIM card cannot be activated - Invalid SIM

I just bought a pre-paid SIM card and when I try to activate it on the Koodo website (https://activateprepaid.koodomobile.com/) it says the SIM card is invalid.
How can I verify if the SIM card the store sold me is really pre-paid and not a post-paid?

Thanks,

Hi Flavio,

Try doing the activation in IE. I always had issues using other browsers for prepaid.

Thanks Mathieu. I just tried in IE, but same result.
Do we have to insert the SIM card in the phone before we can register the SIM card # on the website?
Or is there a way to identify if the SIM card # is pre or post paid (first few digits, or something similar)?

No. The SIM card can remain outside of the phone during activation. The card that the SIM card was attached to (looks like a credit card) should have the word "Prepaid" clearly printed in the upper left corner. A post paid card will simply state the size(s) of the SIM card, (e.g. standard, micro and nano).

8912 are the first four digits of my prepaid SIM card. I'm not sure if postpaid SIM cards start with a different series of numbers, but if they do, this would be a good way to distinguish between the two.

Okay. Thanks for posting the images of the cards. They gave me the wrong SIM. I will go exchange it tomorrow. Thank you.
