Possible to Add a New Line Line and apply SPC 1GB offer?

I currently have one line with the $10 credit SPC offer applied.
I am looking to add a second line for sis, with the $35 base plan and +1GB SPC offer (from a different spc card)? However, I am unable to proceed having typed the promo code during the order process.

To my understanding they should be treated independently and it should work, and i think i would have less trouble by having 2 separate accounts, but i would prefer to consolidate under 1 login.

Any insight, if the promo code is suppose to be something else? this koodo-spc partnership has expired? or will customer service have to make the manual account change after activation?

Sounds like that was the offer last August. They have a different one now, seems even better though.  Check out the details here:

What error do you receive after typing the promo code in?

"This promo code is invalid with this phone. It is also invalid with Bring Your Own Phone. Please look at your offer details for the eligible phones."

my selections for this was just add a line >>> $35 plan (no phone is selected)

This error message could be referring to either, i'm not allowed to use another spc code due to existing spc credit?,  or only valid when ordering a new phone? This seems inconsistent what what is advertised on https://www.spccard.ca/?q=koodo where it just says on a new activation or renewal.

So from here i experimented with adding a phone, and it lets my type the promo code now, but after you validate with a different spc card #, the website either crashes or no changes are applied to the order. this leads me to either believe there is no active spc promo or the offer hasn't been coded properly on the backend since the $10 credit promo expired on april 15 and it reverted to this advertised +1GB.

Weird.  Link says partner Koodo does not exist

Jay,
The promocode is valid only if you are the owner the SPC card. As you wanted to add another line to your account using your name (which already had promotion from with SPC), I believe it was not eligible.

hey, sorry that link requires you to login into your spc account to see the offer.
But anyhow spc just confirmed to me that the +1GB is the ongoing valid offer.

As for what Dinh is saying about only 1 spc promo per main account, i no longer think that might be true, because once you select a phone (under add a new line) and apply the code, the page might crash but if you go back to add a plan, you can now see the +1GB bonus.
I went through the process without logging in, and the it appears to be the same.

The main restriction now appear to be that the code won't play with BYOP selections as per the original error code (on either new account or second line). And my question is now, should BYOP be included with this promo since its still a new activation.

@Jay:
I am confused by what you meant about the crash during the adding a new phone and plan.

If you think you were eligible for something and Koodo system failed you, you can always contact Koodo directly and ask them to fix it for you.

Again, I am still thinking that you are not eligible for second discount with SPC on one account.

@Jay: as you are the account owner, your name (not your sister) will be registered again with Koodo and SPC. That might be the reason why you cannot add the second line with SPC discount code.

You can add a different name as subscriber on the account and as long as the subscriber name and the name on the SPC card is the same it should work.

Remember on top of your promo code you need to use a validation code (last 10 digits of the SPC card). Your sister SPC account gave her an updated promo code and this code is validate by her card number (last 10 digits)

If all fail, this is one of the time you'll have to call client care for a fast resolution.
