Possible refund?

I made two payments to pay my monthly bill by accident through RBC online banking. Each one consisted of an amount that would pay the bill entirely. I basically payed double the amount I needed to pay in two separate payments. This occurred to me not noticing I already made a payment later that day. Is it possible to receive a refund or will that go toward my next bill?

If you pay extra amount, it will appear as a credit on your account.
So you will get a adjusted amount bill next month.

That would mean that my bill has been paid next month right?

Right. If you don't go over your minutes or data this cycle ;)

If you had to have called your financial institution when you noticed they would have reversed one of the charges. I happen to make a double payment once and just called my bank and they fixed it :)

Oh! And this is just my opinion because things like this bug me, but,if you make an over payment or make a double payment by accident or whatever reason, you should be given the refund back right away and none of this "credit on next months bill" garbage!
