I went to Koodo today to port my number from Telus. Koodo's system showed a system error when attempting to port, but my Telus phone immediately stopped working. The associates at the Koodo store tried to help, but their technical support needs 48 hours to process a ticket. I called Telus, who told me that my account has been cancelled because it has been ported out. So now, I have lost the phone number that I have had for over a decade...does this make sense? Can my number still be saved? This all happened less than three hours ago, but nobody is able to help me at this time...thanks!
