I was told that when i port my number through koodo from rogers that Koodo takes care of that and my services with rogers will automatically cancel. Does rogers have to authorize my number to be eligible to port? Can this only be done once my contract is over?
It is also worthwhile to know that your service should be kept "alive" with your current provider before you switch. Your new provider will port your number and take care of the cancellation of your old service for you.
