When buying an "online only" used phone, can I still port my phone number? Will I be prompted as part of the checkout or do I need to call Koodo to get this done?

You can port your number at any time, Gary. You can do it when you create your account, or at any later point in time (if you get a temporary number first). No need to call Koodo in either case :)

I am about to buy LG G5 through Koodo's "Online Only" option. So, when would be the best time to Port my current phone number to my new Koodo account? Is there an option during check out?

I would recommend waiting until you receive the device before porting your number. Port requests for wireless numbers typically complete within an hour or two, and your current service will stop working once you port out your number.

In my experience, porting a cellular number via self-serve takes a couple minutes (super fast)! Best to port after the fact, that way your number is not in limbo while waiting for the device to arrive.
