Porting number from Public Mobile

Hi all, 

My parents and I switched over to Koodo from Public Mobile 2 days ago. My mom's number was ported over from Public Mobile after around 24hrs, during that time she had a temporary number. However, just today, her original number went out of service again and she has been assigned yet another temporary number. Could somebody tell me what is going on? She's looking to me for answers but I don't have them.

hi Roger,
From your description, It looked like there were some issue with porting. Did anyone from Koodo contact her regarding the port? how did she got another temporary number? I would try to restart the phone with SIM and hope her old number will show up sometime.

Thanks for your reply. I suspect someone did try to contact her via home phone today but nobody was home and no voicemail. We'll try to restart the phone with the SIM and see if there's any luck. Thanks
