Porting number from a Telus business account to a Koodo personal account

What steps do I, and my company, need to take in order to release my number from their Telus group business plan and to port it to a new personal Koodo account? I will need to set up a Koodo account /plan as I have never been a customer before. I have an iPhone5, not sure of the phone will also be coming with me.

Hi Catherine,

You will have to go to a Koodo retail location to activate your new account, and pick out a new phone if need be. Usually, you just tell the rep you want to port your phone number from Telus to Koodo and they will take care of everything. Now, I'm not sure if the procedure would be different as it's a business account, but either way you will need to go to the location and setup the new account and the rep will assist you with it.

You need to own the business account of have permission on the business account to port your number over
