Porting landline to cell phone

I have ported my landline to Koodo, I received the text saying the porting was complete .. but it appears my incoming calls are going thru cellphone .. but my outgoing calls are going through the landline still. Does it take longer for the previous carrier to drop the service ?

Generally lan line to cell phone can take a couple of business days. The porting proccess is probably still pending so I wouldn't be so worried.
All my incoming calls are cellphone .. out going still on landline ...it has been 3 days .. called koodo and they said it was done successfully ... I just don't want to be billed by Koodo and my landline provider ... not sure why it works one way but not the other ?

I don't understand what you mean by "outgoing still on landline" can you clarify?
I have bluetoothed my cell to my wireless handsets .. when incoming calls come ... the cell rings and the handsets .. and the icon shows the cell on the display of the handsets .. but when I make calls .. outgoing calls ... they are not going through the cell phone .. they are still on the landline. I disconnect the cell from the handsets .. and turn off the cell .. and still able to make calls out .. so that tells me that the landline is still working for outgoing calls. Yet, when I call Koodo they said the switch is completed and they advised my previous provide. I should not have to contact them to cancel the service. so I am confused why the incoming calls are on cell .. and outgoing are on landline ?

Correct me if I'm wrong so the porting department told you the port was complete?This shouldn't happen based on what your stated. I'd contact Koodo 866-995-6636 and request the porting department to have them look into this.
Funny -- just the past few minutes -- my phone line went dead -- so maybe it took time at my landline providers end ? seems to be fine now .. thanks for all your help everyone !
