How do I port my landline number to a cell and use Koodo as my provider? I am not setup with Koodo yet. I do have a iphone & sim that my friend gave me to use. Do I need to go into the store to get this done or can I do it all on line? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

If the sim has been used then it's no good.  Also the Iphone needs to be a telus or koodo iphone or an unlocked iphone for it to work with Koodo.

But all you have to do is go down to Koodo and tell them you want to port your landline over to this Koodo iphone.

Be aware that it takes a few days to port a landline... We just did it on Sunday and the port was completed today (Wednesday). You won't have any downtime though as long as you keep your landline phone plugged in until the port is complete :)

You may be floating for a while in the situation where you can make outgoing calls from your cell but the incoming ones will still go to the landline. Don't panic. It indicates that the switchover is in process.
