I'm a Public Mobile customer that received the $40 5GB promo offer to port over to Koodo. Koodo now has a referral offer that makes it attractive to do this online. I'm unable to get this to work however.
I followed the instruction here: https://www.koodomobile.com/help/redeeming-your-koodo-promo-code?INTCMP=KMNew_P2K_PromoCode

So I added the SIM to my cart, entered the promo code and my Public Mobile number. The code is accepted and I see the plan credit applied. However, I'm unable to select the specific "5GB, unlimited text unlimited Canada minutes plan" associated with the promotion. All I see are the standard Koodo plans.
I know I can go to a store, but then referral credit is for online activations only.

Gary,
Do you have a text of the code for 5GB? I think they only sent out the text for 4GB only. Can you post your text here? (delete personal information pls)

Hi Dinh.

Text was originally for 4GB, but my store confirmed the 5GB code is valid. Doesn't work online though..

Then it would be little tough, you could try to activate it online and call in to ask for 5GB. But as you didn't have the original text of 5GB, there could be some risk of not getting it.

Oh I see. I'm a little confused as to why the online and in-store offers are widely different. I guess I'll stick with PM for now. Thanks for the help.

The offers are so different because Koodo wants people to do everything online which requires no employee interaction. Unfortunately whoever runs the online stuff can't get it to work properly. So people call in, wait on hold for hours, decide to leave Koodo or not sign up with them at all as in your case. With PM everything is done online and through their help forum. Koodo would like the same.

Thanks for the comments people This is now a totally moot point as Koodo this morning texted me a code with a 6GB offer and it works online too. Nice, but TBH, the migration of Public Mobile users is a total fiasco.
